Accademie in Valle was created with the intention of bringing quality music and entertainment to the mountain centres of the Cuneo valleys. Accademie in Valle is inextricably linked to the territory and mountain communities involved, with the aim of creating mutual appreciation and lasting collaboration in culturally less active areas. In addition to Limone Piemonte, the Festival includes the participation of Entracque, Chiusa di Pesio, Vernante and Demonte.

The music festival Accademie in Valle enriches the summer of Limone Piemonte with appointments of great artistic value. The concerts take place at the Teatro alla Confraternita at 9.15 p.m. and are all free admission.

A tribute to Fryderyk Chopin, one of the most beloved composers of all time, who found in the piano the finest means of expressing his feelings. Indeed, almost all his works are dedicated to this instrument, featuring melodies that are perhaps unique in the history of music (simple, pure, elegant). Chopin is described as the “romantic” musician par excellence, perhaps due to his marked melancholy, but let us not forget that his music, rich in bursts of passion and drama, possesses a vigour that at times borders on violence.

Gambarotta and Costa are the stars of this recital of great emotional and artistic impact, in which their gentle and anecdote-rich interpretations hold a particular charm for the audience, in perfect harmony with the romantic and intense notes of Chopin’s music, brought to life by Giorgio Costa’s artistry.
